As a Crestron partner, we were excited to follow their participation at Infocomm 2023, where they showcased a range of innovative products and solutions. Here are some key insights from the event.
Meeting and Desk Scheduling Solutions
Crestron presented their meeting scheduling solutions, including traditional 10-inch panels and the newly added desk booking feature. The desk booking feature is a new area for Crestron, extending their expertise from meeting spaces to desk booking. This feature is particularly relevant as organizations navigate the return to office, allowing users to schedule their workspace and enabling facilities and HR to manage the space effectively.
Teams Display Solution
Crestron’s Teams Display Solution is another highlight. This solution is designed for smaller spaces like phone booths, allowing users to reserve a space for calls without needing to book a conference room. The Teams Display Solution includes a QR code that allows users to log in on the device, bringing their identity to the device and providing access to their Teams chat, meetings, and more.
Wireless Scalable Audio Solution
Crestron also showcased their wireless scalable audio solution, designed for meeting spaces. The system consists of a FlexPod, a combined speaker and microphone unit, and a FlexPod Hub, a transceiver for the pods. This solution is particularly effective in spaces with a lot of glass, which can present challenges for audio.
Video Bar 70
The Video Bar 70, Crestron’s first all-in-one Android device, was another standout product. It features four intelligent cameras for the best remote participant experience, a 24-mic array for audio pickup from a distance of 25 to 30 feet, and two stereo speakers for rich room-filling audio.
Intelligent Video Solutions
Crestron’s range of intelligent video solutions includes presenter tracking, group framing, speaker tracking, and group framing. These solutions offer a variety of options for capturing and presenting video in meeting and presentation spaces.
